Safety Guidelines

Read before lighting any torch for the first time.

  • Always work in a well-ventilated area with active extraction.
  • Use proper didymium safety glasses rated for boro work.
  • Keep oxygen lines away from oil and grease.
  • Inspect hoses monthly for cracking, abrasion or B-fitting wear.
  • Have an ABC fire extinguisher within arm's reach.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Which torch should I start with? The Alpha is our most-recommended first burner for soft-glass beadwork.
  • Can I run propane and oxygen from concentrators? Yes — most of our torches work fine on a standard 10 LPM concentrator. The Star is specifically tuned for low-O₂ setups.
  • What hose grade do I need? 1/4" T-grade welding hose with female B-fittings.
  • How often should I clean the torch face? Every 40–60 hours of use, or whenever you see uneven flame jets.
